Tentacle Surge is a rare mutation in Fisch that increases a fish’s C$ value by 1.5x. This makes it a valuable mutation for players looking to boost their earnings.

However, obtaining a fish with the Tentacle Surge mutation is difficult due to its rarity and the limited fishing rod options.

To catch a fish with Tentacle Surge, you need to use the Kraken Rod, which gives you a 5% chance of capturing one.

Despite these odds, this mutation cannot currently be obtained because of a bug in the game.

Players have reported that no Tentacle Surge fish appear, even when using the required equipment.

The developers of Fisch are aware of the issue and are expected to fix the bug in an upcoming update.

While waiting for the fix, you can focus on catching fish with other valuable mutations or upgrade your rods.

How To Get The Kraken Rod In Fisch

The Kraken Rod is a new fishing rod introduced in the Fisch version 1.15, also known as, the Atlantis update.

It has a 10% chance to double the value of any fish caught and a 5% chance to apply the Tentacle Surge mutation.

Additionally, it has a built-in pity system that guarantees a Legendary, Mythical, or Exotic fish after 50 catches.

You need to complete all Clock Wheel puzzles in Atlantis, including the Clock Puzzle located in the Kraken Pool.

Once you have completed all Clock Wheel puzzles, you can purchase the Kraken Rod for 1,333,333 C$ at the end of the Kraken Pool underwater tunnel.
