Fisch version 1.20, also known as the Whale Migrations update, was released on March 1, 2025.

This update introduces the Whale Migration event, along with several bug fixes, limited Bobbers, and Skins.

Version 1.20 also adds two new fish, the Blue Whale and Moby, and a new NPC, Captain Ahab.

Blue And Moby Whale In Fisch

You can catch the Blue Whale, an exotic fish, while the Moby Whale is a secret fish that appears during the Whale Migration event in the Ocean of Fisch.

During the Whale Migration event, the radar will show the spot where you can catch the Whale.

Furthermore, even without the radar enabled, a trail of blue arrows will appear, showing the Whales’ migration route.

Preferences Of Blue And Moby Whales

The preferred bait for the Blue Whale is Shrimp bait, and for the Moby is Squid. You can get them from crates or by completing Angler quests.

While both whales do not have a preference for weather and time, they do have a preferred season: summer.

The Blue Whale and Moby are quite large, having an average weight of 215,000 kg and 145,000 kg, respectively.

Furthermore, you can sell the Blue Whale for an average of 21,500 C$ and the Moby Whale for an average of 54,375 C$.

Finally, both of these whales are incredibly difficult to catch due to their resilience and negative progress speed.

The Blue Whale has a -90% progress speed, while the Moby Whale has a -95% progress speed.
