In the huge update, one of the weapons, particularly Melee, is Shovel, alongside Mirage.
Both of the new Melee offer almost the same damage and can be crucial in close combat.
Shovel Stats and Upgrade Level In Remnant 2
Shovel offers 55 Damage in the close range and modigrants +100% Weak spot damage.
The Melee weapon doesn’t have a modifier or mods, but luckily, you can modify and upgrade it according to your preference.
The Melee Weapon is upgradeable until level 19 and requires Iron(Depending on the upgrade level), Scrap, and a Simulator.

How To Obtain Shovel In Remnant 2?
Getting a Shovel is most likely the most Straightforward process in the DLC, unlike Polygun Weapon, Thorn, or Trinity Crossbow.
You don’t need to search for Kuri Kuri Egg or open the Corrupted Door.
But there’s a catch: you should have completed Remnant 2 at least once in any difficulty level: Survivor, Veteran, Nightmare, and Apocalypse.
If you have reached the end game after beating Annihilation, the final boss of Remnant 2, in Blackened Citadel, Root Earth.
Defeating the boss is tricky, but if you target the boss’s weak point: Head in the first phase and Humanoid body in the end phase, you will become victorious.
Players will receive the achievement of Forever is a Long Time Coming and a Broken Compass as a drop.
Broken Compass unlocks a getaway to Explorer Archetype after you hand it to Wallace at Ward 13, the game’s central hub.
If you have unlocked the new class and got the DLC, you can purchase the Shovel from Brabus in Ward 13.
The Melee weapons cost 500 Scraps and should be a decent option for starting your new DLC journey.
Mirage Stats And Upgrade Levels In Remnant 2
Mirage has three additional damages compared to Shovel’s 55 and has the same Weak spot Damage of +100%.
Unlike Shovel, Mirage does include a Weapon mod, and when exposed, it can increase the damage by 15%.
Moreover, the DLC Melee has a -5% Stagger Modifier, offers no mutators, and offers up to 10 levels of upgradeable options.

How To Get Mirage In Remnant 2?
You can get Mirage after providing the required materials to Ava McCabe in Ward 13;
- Blossoming Core
- 7 Lumenite Crystal
- 1000 Scrap
Lumenite Crystal and Scrap are fairly easy to obtain, but you need to reach the Goddess’s Rest to obtain the Blossoming Core.
You should head to Goddess’s Rest, activate the first beacon, and search for the other four to unlock the main door.
Upon entering the door, you will see a golden bowl providing you with Blosomming Core after you place Cherished fracture(obtained from Luminous Vale).
