The Lunar Glow update for Grow a Garden was released on Saturday, May 10, and introduced a bunch of new features.
The update also added a Lunar event where players have to collect Moonlit fruits to earn rewards like Night Staff and Pet Eggs.
Night Staff In Grow A Garden
The Night Staff is a special item in Grow a Garden, which you can use during the Lunar Event.
This item helps your fruits get the Moonlit mutation, which is needed to earn Lunar Points and unlock rewards.
Further, the Night Staff works only during the night. When you place it down, it will choose one random fruit and give it the Moonlit mutation.
It does not matter where you place the staff, because it will always pick a random fruit. The staff has six uses, called Channels, and after all are used, it will disappear from your garden.
Getting The Night Staff
To get a Night Staff, you need to collect Lunar Points. You can earn these points by giving Moonlit fruits to the Wise Old Owl at the center of the map.
The number of Lunar Points you earn depends on how rare the fruit is, and the points given for each rarity are listed below.
- Common Fruit – 1 point
- Uncommon Fruit – 2 points
- Rare Fruit – 3 points
- Legendary Fruit – 4 points
- Mythical Fruit – 5 points
- Divine Fruit – 6 points
When you collect enough points, you will unlock rewards, including Night Staffs, Pet Eggs, and Seed Packs.
Finally, players can get a total of four Night Staffs from the Lunar Event, with them unlocking at 40, 110, 240, and 350 points.
