After defeating the final boss of Act 3 in Cruel difficulty, players must enter the Vaal Ziggurat to interact with Doryani.
Interacting with Doryani will assist players in unlocking access to the map device in Path of Exile 2.
Explore The Atlas Of Worlds Using The Map Device
The map device will help the players to travel to the different zones in the Atlas. Players will use the Waystones to travel to different locations.
Waystones are craftable items that players can collect by defeating the monsters and completing the endgame tasks.
The Waystones’ tier helps determine the difficulty of a specific zone and the rewards players can earn.
Players can also modify the maps they enter using the Tablets. These Tablets can be added to the Precursor Towers.
Modifying the zones will increase the difficulty of those areas with an increase in reward bonuses.
Lastly, players can challenge the Pinnacle bosses in those areas to fight against. Defeating those bosses will reward players with extra bonuses.
