From Ashes To Wisdom is a 20th-anniversary event quest in WoW, and ransom notes like Mildewed and Damp are new items.
All Ransom Note With Celebration Crate In WoW
The Ransom Note in World of Warcraft is a quest item or clue that players must interact with for various events or missions.
Players will mostly need these particular quest items during the Guest Relation Events, especially while finding the Celebration Carats.

Celebration Crates are special containers scattered around the Azeroth that contain various rewards, including cosmetics, mounts, and other item.
Additionally, players will find several Celebration Crates, which can only be found by competing in a series of objectives or using quest items.

Mildewed Ransom Note In WoW
Like any other Ransom Note, Mildewed is also one that serves as a Clue that leads you to the Celebration Crate.
Players will find Mildewed Ransome Note in the Bulletin Board, located just next to Assistant Manager Alyx.
Moreover, after collecting the Note, you should head towards the Ashenvale, locate the Potion of Truth from top of the volcano near Lord Magmathar, and drink it.
Once you drink the Potion, you must head towards the Feralas, where you will find the Mildewed Celebration Crate.
The Mildewed Celebrartion Crate is the part of Guest Relation Event, it ot the 8th Carate for the Anneverys event which mostly contain cosmetics, and mounts.
