Purify The Buds At Guardian Statue In Infinity Nikki

In Infinity Nikki, to purify buds is a core gameplay mechanic tied to the use of special Ability Outfits, the Wind of Purity.

Players unlock the Wind of Purity outfit by collecting Whimstars and crafting materials, granting Nikki the power to cleanse corrupted elements and defeat Esselings.

With this outfit, Nikki can unleash Purification Orbs to purify dark essences, clear obstacles, and collect unique resources like Dew of Inspiration.

Locating The Guardian Statue

First, go to Swordsmith Ruins in Wishing Woods, where the Guardian Statue stands.

Then, teleport to the Swordsmith Ruins Gate warp spire which drops you at the entrance of the ruins​.

From there, follow the path south into the ruins area. The Guardian Statue sits near the entrance (next to the heart pad and hay bales).

Further, teleport to Swordsmith Ruins (Wishing Woods) via the Swordsmith Ruins Gate Warp Spire​.

Finally, enter the ruins and look for the large animal statue, “Guardian Statue,” ahead.

Avoiding The Statue’s Gaze

The Guardian Statue constantly scans its surroundings. However, if Nikki is spotted, the statue will strike and send her back to a nearby checkpoint​.

To pass safely, shrink using a Starlet Burst ability and use nearby crates or rubble as cover.

The statue rotates side-to-side, so only move forward while it is turning back or while you are hiding.

When the statue looks away, dash a short distance behind cover. Further, rinse and repeat until you reach the statue’s base without triggering its attack.

Finding The Springbloom Buds

Once you reach the statue, scan the ground around its base for the Springbloom Buds.

These show up as small glowing golden sparkles on the ground; often near hay stacks or debris by the statue.

The buds appear as little golden lights around the statue. Ensure you spot each cluster around the statue as the quest requires purifying every visible bud.

Purify The Buds

With the buds in sight, use Nikki’s Purification ability to cleanse them. Dark Essence corrupts Springbloom Buds, so you need to purify them in Infinity Nikki​.

Further, equip a Whim Fragrance with a purification ability such as Lullaby: Purification.

When you have the buds, use the Purify action. For that, press the Purify button, possibly together with Plunge for a sweeping effect.

This unleashes Nikki’s purifying melody to cleanse the buds. After you purify, buds will revert to its normal state and the golden glow will disappear in Infinity Nikki. Finally, this indicates the cleansing of the buds.

Once you finish the Guardian Statue Buds, you can work on other areas like the Brewing Workshop, for the Land of Peace and Purity  Event.
