Call of Duty: Warzone released Season 5 on July 24, 2024, with a high number of changes and new additions.
In the new season, you can get new battle pass skins and modes, advanced customization features, map changes, and many more.
One notable addition to the new patch is RDB, which is available in every mode and map.
Redeploy Drone Beacon In Warzone
Redeploy Drone Beacon (RDB) is probably the only new item to make a way in every map and mode in Warzone Season 5.
The field upgrade is available instead of the Portable Redeplay Drone, initially added to the Season 4 Reload update.
RDB is the re-work of Portable Redeploy Baloon with new design and functionalities. The Field upgrade can help players locate their squad quickly or use the Redeplay Drone.
You can use the object either in close proximity or throw it further. However, there’s a high chance the enemy might destroy the Field upgrade when thrown away.
Use RDB For Tactical Advantage
The Field upgrade is available in the Bus Station Inventory for $4000 on every map, excluding Vandel, and has a max capacity of two slots.
Once players use the ability, it takes a second to activate and spawns a drone in the sky.
You can use the rope to ascend upwards and deploy the Parachute to change locations quickly. This ability can be crucial in PVP modes and in gaining an upper ground in battles.
But having the upgrade alone is not enough. You should be aware of close enemies, as you have a high chance of getting shot while using the rope.
The field upgrade also deactivates after a couple of seconds, so try using it quickly after you clear the close area.
Besides the RDB, you can also use other field upgrades, such as Munitions Box, Smoke Bomber, and Dead Silence.
However, you should also focus on the build with new updates and patches launching often.
STG 44 should be the best gun you should use in the update, with Static-HV and Superi 46 coming just behind.
The primary AR works well for both close and long ranges and uses 7.92 x 33mm ammo. You can get the weapon via Battle Pass Sector 7.
