The Shadow of Tagilla event in Escape from Tarkov is a big challenge. You can play it in both PvE and PvP modes.

Shadow Of Tagilla Tasks And Locations In Tarkov
There are three main tasks in this event, and they all come from the Mechanic.
The first task, Shady Contractor, asks you to find a car that belongs to a Knossos LLC senior manager.
You also need to pick up their diary. The car is black and crashed outside a small car dealership in Ground Zero.
Once you return the diary to the Mechanic, you can move to the next task.
The second task, Needle in a Haystack, sends you to different locations. You need to check these places:
- Courtyard park near TerraGroup HQ (Ground Zero)
- Kart track (Interchange)
- Playground (Interchange)
- Playground near Concordia (Streets of Tarkov)
- Seaside construction site (Shoreline)
- Health Resort playground (Shoreline)
After visiting all these spots, you unlock Hidden Layer. This task only happens on Shoreline.
You must find the Knossos LLC Facility Key, which lets you enter the Knossos LLC facility under the Resort. But to get into The Labyrinth, you also need the Labrys Keycard.
What Is The Labyrinth?
The Labyrinth is a secret bunker underground. It has loot, hidden details, and a story about a nuke that the Cultists set off. This explosion caused big damage to Tarkov.
A player named re3mr made a map to help with navigation, but the place is still dangerous.
There are traps and puzzles inside that no one has fully mapped yet. Up to four other players can be inside The Labyrinth at the same time, so you must be careful.
The Shadow Of Tagilla Boss Fight In Tarkov
The biggest part of the event is the fight against Shadow of Tagilla. He is a very strong boss who uses a huge double-headed axe called a labrys.
He is the ruler of The Labyrinth and will chase anyone who enters. If you want to win, you have to stay calm and not make mistakes.
Even if you beat Shadow of Tagilla, the danger isn’t over. You still have to escape with the loot you find inside The Labyrinth.
Escape from Tarkov Patch 0.16.5.0 Updates
This event comes with Patch 0.16.5.0, which improves the game in many ways. The update makes the audio, graphics, and AI behavior better.
There are also balance changes that the community has been asking for. This patch makes Escape from Tarkov more polished and fun to play.
