Among all the dungeons in Throne and Liberty, the Temple of Roar is where you will encounter numerous enemies, including the king.
The dungeon is also where you will find Paola’s Research Journal, which is crucial for your research in Paola’s Dimensional Circle.
Temple of Roar dungeon is accessible via Paola’s Dimension Circle and only unlocks after reaching level 30.
You must enter the Lamenting Underground through the dimensional circle to reach the dungeon.
Defeat King Of Chimaerus To Obtain The Journal
Once you have entered the dungeon, you will encounter various monsters, including Ancient Zombine Mutt and Ancient Dark Shaman.
After defeating these monsters and following the objectives displayed on the right side of your screen, you will be directed towards the King.
Moreover, you can reach the King’s location by removing all barriers, which involves defeating all enemies, including the final one, the Ancient Berserk Shade Wizard.
King Chimaerus is a giant lion-like boss with a dragon-face tail that inflicts venom spray on the opponent.
Therefore, players must dodge their tail attack and team up with their friends to defeat the boss, as the boss is hard to defeat solely.
Once you defeat the King, it will drop a chest where you will find Paola’s Research Journal and other valuable items.
Moreover, few players have reported bugs with the quest, where defeating the boss does not drop the journal. This issue is more common among console users.
If you encounter this bug, try re-entering the dungeon or attempting the quest on a PC. It seems to work fine on Windows.
