The Unforgettable quest in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is needed for the Forged and Lost trophy and achievement.
It begins in the prison area and continues through later parts of the game.
The goal is to deliver a letter and decide whether to tell a man that his wife has died.
How To Start The Unforgettable Quest In Tainted Grail
The quest begins in the prison area at the very start of the game. Near your prison cell, there’s another cell with a chest in the back-right corner of the kitchen area.
Inside, you’ll find an Old Letter. Reading it automatically starts the quest.
After this, move to another nearby cell where you’ll find a woman and child’s body. Pick up Father Bond’s Notes there.

This progresses the quest and confirms Katrin died during childbirth. Your objective becomes: “Katrin died in childbirth… Should I tell her husband the truth?”
There’s nothing more to do in the prison. The husband is not located in the asylum or the area immediately after escaping.
Following The Trail
To move the quest forward, continue through the main game until you reach the Horns of the South.
In the main city area, talk to Brother Reagan, a red priest. He recognizes the letter and tells you that Katrin’s husband may still be alive.
He’s likely around 50, came from Quan, and may now live in the city of Cuanacht. Reagan asks you to share this news if you ever meet him.

In Cuanacht, speak with Denim. He tells you to investigate why Effer the blacksmith refuses to take new orders.
When you visit Effer, you find out his friend Beor is dying. To help, you must go to Lover’s Cave, kill the Fade, take its heart, and use it to cure Beaware.
Completing The Unforgettable Quest In Tainted Grail
Once Beor is healed, return to Effer. You can now deliver Katrin’s letter and choose whether to tell him the truth.
His emotional response reveals his memories of Katrin, his hopes for a son, and his deep pain. He gives you an item he once meant to bury with her.

After this, the Unforgettable quest is complete, and you unlock the related achievement.
You can also do more quests for Beor, which may allow him to help in a later main story mission.
Be patient as the quest spreads across multiple acts and depends on main and side quest progress.
