Sparking ZERO is an action-packed fighting game that explores alternate timelines and iconic battles in the Dragon Ball universe.
In Sparking ZERO, players can unlock alternate paths that explore intriguing What If scenarios.
One such path occurs in the Super Vegeta quest inside Vegeta’s Story mode during the Android/Cell Arc.
Super Vegeta Alternate Path In Sparking Zero
To access Super Vegeta What If Scenario in Sparking Zero, start by selecting Vegeta’s story mode.
The quest becomes available during the Android/Cell Arc and the fight against Cell is crucial to this path and is divided into two parts.
In the first part, you will battle Imperfect Cell. Although straightforward, this part does not impact unlocking the alternate path.
The key to the alternate path lies in the second part of the Cell fight, where you must face Perfect Cell.
You need to defeat Cell within a specified time limit, ideally finishing the battle in under two minutes.
If you succeed, a cutscene will trigger, unlocking the branched path leading to the Total Victory quest.
However, if Vegeta uses his iconic Final Flash attack, it means you have exceeded the time limit.
When this happens, restart the battle immediately to avoid replaying the first phase of the fight.
What If Vegeta Went Super Saiyan Early in Sparking ZERO
A second intriguing alternate path revolves around Vegeta going Super Saiyan early in Sparking ZERO.
To access this scenario, head to Goku’s story mode and focus on unlocking the “Pushing the Limit” quest.
To do so, you must defeat Raditz within a set time limit in the “Rematch and Result” quest.
This victory alters the course of the narrative, allowing Goku to survive instead of dying.
Once the branching path is unlocked, you must complete several quests to progress.
These quests include “Temporary Peace,” “Hurry, Goku,” “Goku vs Nappa,” “A Saiyan’s Education,” “Transformation,” “Goku’s Rage,” and “A Solo Journey to Planet Namek.”
When you complete these quests you will unlock the “Pushing the Limit” quest, where Vegeta transforms into Super Saiyan early in a cutscene.
In addition to these paths, Vegeta has two more alternate Sparking Episodes that enrich his storyline.
The first happens during A Strong Dad quest, which you unlock by defeating Majin Buu before Vegeta sacrifices himself.
The second occurs in Saiyans: The Warrior Race quest which requires defeating Kid Buu within a time limit.
This unlocks an extra Goku vs. Vegeta fight, giving players another exciting twist to the story.
