Polluted water is one of the best sources of acid for farming, and it is suitable for making gunpowder, ingots, and batteries in Once Human.
Besides Acid, you can also use the water to get the Stardust Source by using the Stardust Water Pump.
However, finding the correct source is tricky, as the water type can differ in various locations.
Purify Polluted Water To Make Acid
You can get polluted water from contaminated water sources, usually found in blurry rivers.
Once you are in the polluted area, the Backpack will glow. You should build your base within the area to extract the polluted water.
The Backpack can determine the pollution level and numbers as well. In the green marker, you can survive easily compared to the yellow and red signs.
You can find tons of polluted areas in other locations, including Chalk Pick, Broken Delta, and Iron River.
Search For Polluted Area
Once you encounter a polluted area, you should look for a potential water source within the location.
After building the base in the area, you should add a few water pumps to the water source or its edge. The machine will automatically collect several packs of Polluted Water.
If you want more polluted water, you can explore other areas (coordinates: 4654, -2507) and set up the pumps.
Make And Farm Pure Acid
After you insert the unpurified water, the osmosis water purifier will provide you with Pure Water and Unpurified Acid.
You should head to the Brewing Barrel and insert pure water and unpurified Acid to get the Acid. You can also automate the different machines to get the bulk Acid over time.

Getting Acid using the tools can be easy quite it can take quite a while to generate the output.
So, players can also try using the recipe Preserved Deviated Chops (Unlocks at Logistics Dishes 3), which can increase Acid gain by 50% after defeating Deviants.
Moreover, you can also use the vending machine at the Blackfell to get hundreds of Acid by exchanging energy links, special plastic, rawhide, or portable mixed fuel.
Other ways to get Acid, including Special Defense events and Defending Workshops, depend on your Acid Card.
