Silent Hill 2 Remake’s story begins when the playable character, James Sunderland, receives a letter from his deceased wife.
The game story is set in the small and remote mining town of Silent Hill in Maine.
There are several puzzles, such as Eastern South Vale, Wood Side Apartments, Blue Creek Apartments, and Watch It Go Dark.
Watch It Go Dark puzzle in Silent Hill 2 Remake takes part in the Brookhaven Hospital in 2F.
The puzzle is a part of the Chained Box puzzle, which requires two combination keys and a physical key to unlock the chain.
To solve the Watch It Goes Dark Puzzle, you must start your journey from 2F to M2 in the Men’s Locker Room.
The only way to enter the room is through breaking the walls. You can either enter from M1 or M3.
While you are in the M1, you will see an old clock where you can interact to rotate the needle.
Once you point the needle on 2 in an anticlockwise direction, a few enemies will spawn.
You can defeat the enemy by either shooting from a gun or attacking with the lever you have.
Use Combination Keys From Calender To Complete Watch It Go Dark
After that, you can break the wall to enter M2. Observe the floor carefully, where you will find a piece of a calendar.
The piece contains a phrase written on it: “1 year they’ve been watching me, So many pills they fed me, When a loud hour comes, I tremble every time the light falls.”
You have nothing much to do with the phrase, but the numbers written there are crucial.
The combination key will unlock one of the chains in the Chained Box puzzle.
After that, return to the 2F and enter the key in the cylindrical lock on the left side of the box.
The combination key is 1622, which unlocks the cylindrical lock and completes the Watch It Go Dark puzzle.
Once you have reached this step, you have successfully finished the Watch It Go Dark puzzle.
As the puzzle is a part of the Chained Box puzzle, you have Lapis Eye Key and Hospital Box Code remaining. After you complete all three puzzles, you can unlock the Chained Box.
