On June 26, 2025, Dune: Awakening released its major update (Patch 1.1.0.17 “Deep Desert Overhaul“).
This new update redefines the most dangerous and rewarding region in the game: the Deep Desert, offering a challenging gameplay experience.
Following the release of this patch, players have discovered several glitches in the game, most notably the Duplication Glitch.
Dune: Awakening Dupe Glitch (Duplication Glitch) After Patch 1.1.0.17
The Deep Desert Overhaul Patch (1.1.0.17) in Dune: Awakening brought a few exciting changes, including the PvE in the entire southern half of the Deep Desert.
With these changes, players can now safely farm, explore caves, and complete Testing Stations without PvP interference.
Despite the number of improvements and bug fixes, through this patch, a new issue has arisen in the game, namely the “Duplication Glitch”.

With discussions about this glitch circulating across platforms like Reddit and Discord, there is growing concern that some players may exploit it to generate free resources unfairly.
Although the origin of the glitch and the individuals responsible for finding it remain undisclosed, several videos and clips have surfaced showcasing how the duplication glitch is performed.
Is Funcom Aware Of The Duplication Glitch?
Till the day of this writing, Funcom has not officially addressed the glitch, but we don’t recommend players using the glitch to make some extra resources.
Although Funcome has not mentioned anything, there is a significant chance that a player’s account may be banned if they abuse the glitch.
We highly recommend reporting the glitch through Funcom’s official support channels, such as email, Discord, Twitter, or their website, rather than taking advantage of it.
