Dead by Daylight is a 1v4 online horror game where one Killer hunts four Survivors trying to escape.
Chapter 36 of DBD introduces a new crossover with the terrifying world of Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF).
Alongside the arrival of animatronic horror comes a batch of exclusive cosmetics that players can collect.
Banners In DBD x FNAF Crossover
There are two banners that players can collect in this crossover chapter. Vent Crawl is the first banner that players can collect in the DBD x FNAF crossover chapter.
You can unlock this banner simply by purchasing the Chapter 36 DLC. Once you own this DLC, this banner is automatically added to your collection.
The second banner, Horror Attraction, is not available through regular gameplay or purchase.
To obtain this banner, players must complete the “DBD x FNAF” Discord quest.
In addition to the banners, this crossover also includes other themed cosmetics that players can collect.
You can earn badges like “Stacks of Pizzas” and “Fazbear and Friends,” each bringing a bit of FNAF terrifying charm.
Map Offering Changes In DBD
Dead by Daylight has reduced the effectiveness of map offerings from a near-guaranteed 99% chance to just 20% in Chapter 36.
This change prevents both survivors and killers from consistently forcing certain maps.
Further, the devs confirmed that the offerings no longer stack, so even a full team cannot boost the odds by using multiple.
While some killers, like those playing The Dredge, used to benefit from killer-favored maps like Midwich, this update encourages more variety and balance.
Finally, this is a much-needed shift that puts fairer map selection ahead of map manipulation.
