The game also features many hidden places, like the secret landing spots that offer powerful rewards and fun challenges.

Chapter 5 of Doom: The Dark Ages, The Holy City of Aratum, sends players into the skies on a Dragon to destroy four Hell Carriers.

Landing Spots In Doom: The Dark Ages Chapter 5

Some of the best secrets are hidden in special landing spots that are not part of the main story.

There are two secret landing spots in Chapter 5 of Doom: The Dark Ages that hide valuable rewards like weapon skins, collectibles, and hidden loot.

These secret areas are easy to miss but offer great bonuses for players who explore carefully.

First Secret Landing Spot

The first of two secret landing spots in Doom: The Dark Ages Chapter 5 is southwest of the central area.

After you land, go to the tree in the middle and destroy it using your shield. This will start a fight where you will battle Pinky Riders, Imp Stalkers, and regular Stalkers.

Once you have defeated these enemies, stronger enemies, including the Demonic Leader, will spawn.

When you defeat the Demonic Leader, you will receive a Demonic Essence as a reward.

Further, do not leave the island just yet, as there is more treasure to find. To find them, look for a path going around the island and follow the ramp down.

At the bottom, in the center of the island, you can find a treasure chest.

Second Secret Landing Spot Doom: The Dark Ages

Once the central Hell Carrier is destroyed, fly down and you will see two Titans. You must take them down like you did with the turrets before.

Players can then land on the second secret landing spot in this area. After landing, go to the lower platform, where you can see a group of cultists.

There is also a trail of gold on the ground that players need to follow until they reach a hidden cave. Inside the cave, you will find a Skin for your weapon.

Furthermore, step on a green platform on the surface to lift a circular platform and reveal a metal chain.

You need to throw your shield at the metal chain to drop the platform. Further, jump into the water that appears and swim down.

You will find a wheel to turn, which drains the water and gives access to the chamber and the metal chain.

Players then need to aim and throw their shield to break the chain. After breaking it, head inside the chamber and interact with the body to get the red keycard.

Finally, use the jump pad to fly on the surface, and use the red keycard to unlock a gate, behind which you can find more treasure and a Ruby.
