Interact With NPC To Start “Forest Doshaguma” Quest
To start this side quest, you must first locate the NPC “Erik”, the biologist. You will find the NPC in Windward Plains Base Camp.
After interacting with the NPC, you can take over the quest. To quickly travel to the quest location, you can click on the Quick Start option.

Once in the area, your main objective will be to hunt the fanged monster, Doshaguma. The beast is located in the same forest in Area 10, near the river.
Defeat The Fanged Beasts To Complete Forest Doshaguma In Monster Hunter Wilds
After reaching the boss’s location, you must target its weak points, which are its soft belly, to make the heave attack and achieve a quick win.
So, to target its belly, you need to focus when the monster rises on its hind legs. If the belly is not visible, you can target the head and forelegs, which are breakable.

Moreover, players can use weapons with Fire and Thunder elements, like Phoenix Hammer and Dual Blades, as the monster is particularly vulnerable to these elements.
It might be difficult to defeat these large monsters quickly, so players must keep applying pressure with coating and other items.

Once you have defeated the beast, you must look for enemy dorops, as these monsters seem to drop exclusive items.
Doshaguma Certificate S, Fang, Hide, and Claw are some elements that this monster might drop after being defeated.
In addition to these drops, players will also receive 15840z, 231 Guild Points, 40 HR, and Palico Level 20 as a quest reward.
