Using Magic In RuneScape Dragonwilds
Using the crafting table, players can craft the Ash Battlestaff, which is available in the weapons section.

It is a magic weapon that requires 12 ash wood, 6 rune essence, and 2 coarse threads to craft.
To craft coarse threads, players must use an item called the spinning wheel, which turns flax into coarse thread.
Although players can craft and use magic weapons, there is currently no skill tree for magic.

When players navigate to the magic option in the skill section, it will display “Coming Soon.“
Defeating enemies with magic grants players experience for the magic skill, but the skill tree is not available at the moment.
The game is currently in early access, and not all features are available in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

The developers will include the feature in future updates based on player feedback.
Jagex plans to fully launch the game in early 2026, expanding it with additional systems, spells, and skills.
