Investigate the letter and report Back to Sven is an objective in the side quest A Veil of Gossamer Clouds in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
The side quest unlocks right after players complete Feast of Deception and Masked Correspondance.
Feast of Deception is the 10th major mission, whereas Masked Correspondance is just a secondary one in the Action RPG.
Investigate The Letter And Report Back To Sven In Dragon’s Dogma 2: Spy And Deliver Secrets
Even though A Veil of Gossamer Cloud is not essential to progress through the main story, it’s a decent side quest that takes massive playtime to reach.
After reaching the quest requirement, i.e., Feast of Deception and Masked Correspondance( unlocks after completing the Main and side quest Seat of the Sovran and The Ornate Box), follow the procedure;
Quest Starting Location For A Veil of Gossamer Clouds
The starting location for A Veil of Gossamer Cloud to reach Investigate the letter and report Back to Sven objective is Vernworth Castle.
Moreover, the quest starts after players take a long rest at Venworth Castle and interact with Sven.
Players can find Sven inside of the Guardhouse in his Chamber, patiently waiting for their entrance.
However, first, players need a permit from Brant to enter the Beastren Border to progress the mission.
After getting the Permit, players must head to Check Point Rest Town by taking Oxcart from West Venworth.
Players can quickly get the Oxcart after talking to Nikk by handing 200G.
Purchase Beastren Mask
To enter the Venwirth Castle, players must first purchase a Beastren Mask, even if they have a Beastren Character.
The beastren mask is easily accessible at Ibrahim’s Scrap Store for around 8700G.
After equipping the mask, the next step is reaching the Checkpoint Gate using the South path.
However, getting the Mask alone is not enough to enter Batthal; you must also show Gordon, the guard, the Beastren Border Entry Permit.
Bakbatthal is the next destination for you, which lies just ahead of the BorderCheckpoint’s main path.
Reaching the Bakbatthhal is inadequate; to complete the investigation, you should also search for the Forbidden Magick Research Lab as well.
The Laboratory lies right at the exit of Dye Stories, a few steps ahead of Flamebearer Ward on the right side of the bridge.
Spy Yglie In Laboratory
After heading down to the Underground at the Equipment Stores, you can spy on Yglie and learn of Vermund’s Secret letter in Workshop 2.
The journey does not quite end here; players must return to Sven’s Castle and show the letter to complete the quest.
Players will get a few handful items for smooth game progression, including Ferrystone, 20000 Gold, and 4000 XP.
