Following the end of the Katana Kingdom Event Chapter 2: Rise of the Futomaki Five, Brawl Stars has now launched the 3rd chapter.

Oni Hunt is a PvE boss fight mode that is available from May 15 to May 22, 2025, where you and two teammates battle gigantic Oni Kenji.
How To Play Oni Hunt Mode In Brawl Stars
To start the Oni Hunt Mode, you first need to choose two teammates, as the mode is playable with three players.
The high-DPS Brawlers with strong survivability and control abilities are the best choice you can opt for in the Oni Hunt Mode.
After making your team, you can start the battle against Oni Kenji. You will have to fight against Kenji in 5 different stages.
In each stage, Kenji will return with stronger abilities and powers. So, you have to make sure that you have the string and understanding teammates.
Like Kenji, you will also be able to respawn after being defeated, but you must make sure that one of your teammates is still standing in the battle.
Each stage will reward you with certain coins or Sushi Roll. Thus, in a single day, you will have the chance to earn 700 Coins and 14 Sushi Rolls.
- Stage 1: 20 Coins
- Stage 2: 30 Coins
- Stage 3: 40 Coins
- Stages 4 & 5: 1 Sushi Roll each

The rewards that Brawl Stars offers in the Mode seem relatively low compared to the effort players put in during the Oni Hunt.
However, the sushi rolls you earn from the mode will help you get Oni Kenji Skins for free at the end of the Katana Kingdom event.
