Frostpunk 2 is a city-building survival game developed and published by 11 Bit Studios. The game location is set in New London.
Players take the role of the city’s new leader, where they build a larger city. They can also construct districts instead of individual buildings.
In the Second Chapter of Frostpunk 2, you must build a colony at the Old Dreadnought and establish the supply of Oil to New London.
Locate A Permanent Fuel Source For Oil Extraction In Frostpunk 2
Frostpunk’s chapter begin with the society in a frozen post apocalypse with Steward, the new Captain of the city.
Players in the first Chapter must find a permanent fuel source outside the city. The coal reserves are running dry.
Initially, you must build a Logistic District on top of an Old Waystation at the boundary of the City’s playable area to gain access to Frostland.
You can find an Old Dreadnought in the Desolate Coast Region west of the city of Frostland. The oil in the Old Dreadnought can sustain New London for longer than coal.
Lastly, you can build your own Oil Extraction District to move oil to your Main City.
Transfer Oil From Old Dreadnought To New London
You should initially open the panel for Old Dreadnought Colony next to the mountain icon, which looks like an oil barrel.
Once you click on the icon, you will see the image of Old Dreadnought Colony and three icons; ensure to click the first icon.
This will open the Resource Transfer menu, where you can see the limit of resources you can transfer, including Coal, Oil, Food, Materials, and Goods.
Further, you should hover over the Oil slider to adjust the volume of Oil to be transferred and move the slider towards the right to ensure you transfer oil to New London.
You may also need to transfer the population from the colony after overpopulation to ensure that all the districts are working efficiently.
In Chapter 2, you can obtain more resources to keep the generator running. While completing the objectives, you must also keep your villagers safe and cozy.
