The 2024 free-to-play action RPG Wuthering Waves has finally launched its new update, “Version 1.1: Thaw of Eons.”
This latest update features new areas, resonators, and some new weapons, extending WuWa’s main campaign storyline.
Jinhsi and Changli are two of the official resonators that will debut in June, while Zhezhi was officially announced on July 8, 2024.
Zhezhi In Wuthering Waves Version 1.2
After weeks of waiting, Wuthering Waves finally introduces new resonators: Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao.
After adding Jinhsi and Changli resonators, these are the confirmed resonators about to make their debut in this update.

Zhezhi is an enigmatic wanderer and a passionate painter who is relatively shy compared to other resonators.
Interestingly, Zhezhi is the art of paper folding that originated in medieval China.
Following this, some spoilers suggest Chinese paper folding, a craft item, may have something to do with her role, but her debut date and banner are yet to be confirmed.
Nonetheless, fans have massively praised the character design and even compared her to HSR’s Ruan Mei.
Xiangli Yao will also debut alongside Zhezhi in the next update, who is Huaxu Academy’s Principal Investigator and has unique insights and research techniques.
The character mainly focuses on Automata Mechanics and shares the following introduction: “As truthseekers, we gauge the universe from within a nutshell. I’d love to hear your insights.”
New Resonators Jinhsi And Changli In Wuthering Waves
Jinhsi, the magistrate of Jinzhou, is one of the new playable 5-star Resonators in the Wuthering Waves Version 1.1 update.
Jinhsi will be available at the start of the new version; if you manage to beat the odds with her convene banner, she will become a playable character.
In Wuthering Waves gameplay, Jinhsi is designed to be used as a main DPS character focusing on Resonance Skill.
On the other hand, Changli is a counselor to the Jinzhou Magistrate and a 5-star Fusion Main DPS with a persuasive and patient personality.

Furthermore, Changli will likely be available during the second half of the Wuthering Waves version 1.1 update.
