• Select The Mission: Go to the Galactic War Map and choose the Deploy Dark mission on the planet Meridia.
• Prepare Your Loadout: Ensure you have kept the necessary equipment, such as high-explosive bombs, guns, and grenade pistols, in your supply pack for the mission.

• Deploy on Meridia: Launch the mission and land on the Meridia planet’s surface.
• Locate the Injection points/drill: Use your map to locate the designated location to inject the dark fluid.
• Defend Drill From Enemies: When you land on Meridia, you may encounter enemies trying to stop you. Thus, prepare yourself for an intense fight.
• Inject The Drak Fluid: After you defeat the enemies, inject the fluid into the area. You must hold the area for a certain period until the injection ends.

• Extraction: After deploying the dark fluid, head to the extraction point and call for your flight.
• Complete the Mission: Defend yourself from enemies at the extraction point until your fight arrives. Then, head back to your board to complete the mission.

If you successfully complete the mission within the given time, you will receive 55 Warbond Medals as a reward.

Dark Fluid Mission Bugged In Helldivers 2

Here are some of the bugs players have encountered during the mission to beat Meridia;

• Infinite Spawns:  Players encounter continuous bug breaches near their landing zone, leading them to face an unending stream of enemies until the mission ends.

• Mission Tallying Issues: Even after successfully completing the mission, the score is not tallied correctly; instead, it shows you are defeated.
• High Regeneration Rate: The mission’s liberation decay rate is 10% per hour, much higher than usual, making it harder for players to progress.

However, these bugs have not been officially addressed by Arrowhead Game Studios. Here are some solutions that players can try to resolve;

• To manage the continuous bug breaches, players suggest using area-of-effect (AoE) stratagems like the Orbital Railcannon Strike or Incendiary Bombs to quickly clear large groups of enemies.
• Players can also use Shield Generators to push back enemies and Smoke Grenades to obscure the shrieker’s vision, making survival easier until extraction.
• To avoid the high regeneration rate, players can try to complete the mission as soon as possible before the given time limit.
