Thira is an important character in Doom: The Dark Ages, a strong and mysterious ally to Doomguy.
Her presence and power take a stronghold on Doomguy’s soul, and he reveals his kinder and more emotional side.
Thira In Doom: The Dark Ages
In the early chapters of Doom: The Dark Ages, players have to protect the city by destroying Gore Portals and fending off waves of demons.
In order to progress they need to use turrets for additional gunpowder, save important characters such as King Novik.
After completing the initial fortress and battlefield objectives, players will enter the Cosmic Realm. It is an important area to meet Thira.
In this Realm, they must drain the water levels, deactivate Stasis Emitters, and obtain a powerful artifact, the BFC.
After completing these objectives, they will release a creature, the Old One, which opens the path that leads directly to Thira.
Activate The Portal To Thira
After releasing the Old One, you must activate a portal and pass through a gate to reach Thira’s domain in the Cosmic Realm.
Here, you need to gather Relic Fragments, assemble the Relic Key, and enter the Temple of Lomarith.
Inside the temple, you will encounter traps and be swallowed by an Old One.
However, your objective is to destroy the Old One’s organ from within to escape and finally enter the temple where Thira awaits
Interaction With Thira
After defeating the Old One and entering the temple, you will reach Thira.
From there, the story which involves Thira, unfolds cutscenes and interactions that make the story between Doomguy and Thira more involved.
Significantly, you must search for collectibles like Life Sigils and weapon upgrades. Besides, use your shield bash and grapple power-ups to walk through tricky areas and enemies.
