Your main goal in this mission is to find where the demonic corruption is coming from. You will fight many demons, face a powerful boss, and move through vents, walls, and broken areas.
The chapter ends with an important battle against a demon leader named Commander Valen.
Break The Pillar And Climb Up To Locate The Demonic Corruption In Doom The Dark Ages
After you get the rifle, go toward the locked gate and fight the demons nearby. Once the area is clear, go up the stairs.
You will find a pillar with hot glowing metal on it. Use your Shield Saw to break it. This will drop two boxes you can climb.
Climb the boxes to reach the upper floor. Go through the vent and climb the wall with crawl marks. At the top, look for a vent cover. Throw your Shield Saw to break the cover and move forward.
Boss Fight And Exit The Zone To Locate The Demonic Corruption In Doom The Dark Ages
As soon as you enter, a strong demon boss will attack. Block its projectiles with your shield and attack with your weapon.
After you defeat the boss, find another crawl mark and climb up again.
More demons will appear. Use your weapons to defeat all of them. After the fight, follow the yellow marker.
It will lead you back to the area where you first entered Hebeth. After you leave, a cutscene will show your next destination.
Reach Valen And End The Chapter
Keep following the yellow marker and fight more demons on the way. The battles will get harder, so upgrade your weapons at the Sentinel shrine.
You will reach a large broken ground area. Jump down to the lower level and keep following the yellow marker. Collect green nodes and defeat more demons.
At the end, you will find a blue gate. Use it to teleport to a new part of Hebeth. Jump down again and follow the marker.
This area is full of demons. After clearing them, a cutscene will show Commander Valen.
Defeat Valen. He is much stronger and takes more time to kill. After you defeat him, a final cutscene will show a large demon being captured. This ends Chapter 2 of Hebeth.
