After closely analyzing today’s NYT Connections, the first four words that came across my mind were Absent, Excused, Present, and Late.

Each of these words seems to be related to the morning attendance in any office or educational organization.

So, after groping out the words, I got the green group” Attendance Status“.

As I progressed with the remaining words, I was unable to find connections between them, so I opted to ask a friend for help.

After some help, I was able to get the blue group “Font Modifying-Words”: Gothic, Sans, Roman, and Typewriter.

In today’s NYT, Connections Sans refers to the short for “sans serif,” meaning a typeface without serifs, rather than the French word meaning “without.”

Likewise, Gothic refers to a style of typeface characterized by angular, blackletter designs, often used in medieval manuscripts.
