Discover “The Perfect Gift” Quest In Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Select the “The Perfect Gift” mission by choosing it from the Onryo board in the objectives section of the game.
This quest is one of two that players must complete after the Searching Sakai quest, before entering the tea ceremony.
The first objective of the quest is to find and speak with the tea merchant, whose location will be marked on the map.
You’ll find a tea merchant in the outer stalls along the northern shore of Sakai Island.
He then introduces you to Sen no Rikyu, the “Master of the Tea Ceremony.”
The objective changes to follow Sen no Rikyu. Players can use the auto-follow feature as he leads you down the street for a short distance.
He will stand in front of the gate. Players can talk to him again to initiate the training, which will trigger a cutscene.
He’ll begin teaching you about the tea ceremony, starting with Rikyu asking how much Naoe should bow her head to her host.
Although choosing any answer will not affect the quest, the correct answer is to bow halfway.
What Gift To Choose In AC Shadows
Naoe learns tea etiquette in a cutscene, which leads to a choice where players select a gift.
You will have to choose which gift to present to Imai Sokyu during the tea ceremony, but the choice has no effect on the outcome. The options are;
- Bamboo ladle
- Tea-leaf jar
- Gold-trimmed teapot
There is no wrong choice, so simply pick the one you like best to complete the quest.
