How To Obtain Facet Of Defiance In Destiny 2?

Generally, equipping the Facet of Defiance grants a bonus of +10 recovery to your character. Moreover, it enhances your ability to recover health faster during combat.

Start Quest At The Transgression
Travel to the Impasse landing zone in the Pale Heart, which is the starting point for your journey to find the Facet of Defiance.
From the Impasse, make your way to an area known as The Transgression. It houses the chest containing the Facet of Defiance.
Find The Statue And Enter The Cave
Look for a large opening where you will encounter a statue of an impaled man by a spike. This serves as a landmark for the correct path.
Once you have located the statue, turn left into the cave opening and search for the chest.
To the left of the statue, there’s a significant pink crystal. Near this crystal, you will find a seed that grants you the “Shielded from Darkness” buff.
Refresh Your Buff In The Poisoned Cave
The cave’s air is toxic, so you must keep refreshing your protective buff to survive.
Generally, you can shoot at the nodes of darkness scattered throughout the cave. These nodes grant you a temporary shield against the poison.
Before you can open the chest, you’ll need a Transgressive Prismatic key. Significantly, this key will unlock the chest.
Activate The Node To Spawn Enemies
Near the chest, there’s a node that, when activated, will spawn a group of enemies. However, prepare yourself to fight these enemies as they guard the key you need.
Significantly, refresh your “Shielded from Darkness” buff every 30 seconds to avoid taking damage from the poison.
Defeat The Enemies For The Key
After defeating enough enemies, a mini-boss, the Tormentor, will appear. Upon their defeat, they will drop the Transgressive Prismatic key.
With the key in hand, approach the chest and use the key to unlock it. Inside, you’ll find the Facet of Defiance; collect it to add this powerful fragment to your inventory.
