Destiny 2’s new expansion, The Final Shape, has brought exciting features, missions, and enemies to provide an adventure journey.
There are eight main missions in this new expansion: Iconoclasm and Ascent are some of them.
Players will encounter different boss enemies in each mission, as per the quest location; Koftiks, Taken by the Witness, is one of them.
Collect The Motes Of Light After Defeating Koftiks In The Blooming
Koftiks, Taken by the Witness, is one of nine bosses you must defeat to collect the Motes of Light.
Motes of Light are a key component in the game’s latest expansion; they are used to open the chest containing the Exotic version of the Khvostov 7G-0X auto rifle.
Players can get up to 17 Motes of light in the game, eight from the Traveler’s Visions and the remaining nine from defeating the overthrow bosses.
You can find nine bosses, three from each location: The Landing, The Blooming, and The Impasse.
Voxelos, Kholon, and Koftiks are the bosses that you will encounter in the Blooming. Defeating them will grant you the Motes of light.
Defeat Koftiks In The Blooming Area
Koftiks, also known as Servitor, is one of the most formidable foes that you will encounter. Thus, it might not be easy for you to defeat him.
It has a range of typical Taken enemies’ powers, such as summoning shadow thralls, firing blasts of dark energy, and teleporting around the arena.
Therefore, players must stay alert for these abilities and learn their patterns to make a heavy counterattack.
Once you defeat the boss, you must ensure you pick up the Mages of light that the boss drops.
Motes of light you collect from the bosses will later help you to get the Khvostov 7G-0X Exotic.
Bungie Has Not Addressed The Glitch With Koftiks In The Blooming Yet
Players are facing a glitch with Koftiks in The Blooming, which will delete all Motes of Light from players’ inventory.
Developers are aware of this glitch, so they have temporarily removed the Taken Servitor boss from Blooming’s Overthrow rotation.
The developers have not yet announced an official fix for this issue; thus, for the latest information, check the official Bungie updates.
Until then, players who have fallen victim to the glitch will have to wait for a fix and halt the mission for a while.
Update: Bungie has finally resolved the glitch.
