Aerial Ace is one of the cyst missions in Destiny 2, which is one of the getaways to unlock the Khvostov Weapon.
Players can be involved in multiple site missions throughout different map locations, including The Transgression, The Refraction, and The Reclusion.
All of the given areas are part of the new location, The Pale Heart in Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
“Aerial Ace” Quest and Encryption Bit In Destiny 2
In Destiny 2, players can participate in multiple cyst missions, including Searing Light, Most-Infested Cavern, and Aerial Ace.
The Aerial ace cyst mission starts at The Transgression in The Pale Heart. You can teleport to the Impasse and head southeast to reach the location faster.
Follow The Markers
You can reach Transgression by following the marker displayed on the screen and following the bird, but be wary of Husks, Globins, and other enemies.
The companion will guide you through a red area in the Transgression till the forbidden entrance, similar to the Sword Dance quest.
The area consists of a few enemies, including Taken Acolyte, Ravenous Taken Acolyte, and Ravaenous Taken Vandal, with Lava all over the floor.
Defeat The Enemies
Players should avoid it at all costs and kill the enemies by jumping from one platform to another.
No matter how many hives you defeat, they keep spawning out of nowhere, and some enemies are also extremely potent.
Ensure you have enough loadouts before you scavenge on the mission, and try to get a cover, as you will constantly get penetrated.
You can also try to make use of tiny gaps to avoid fire damage before unlocking the next marker.
After beating a specific number of enemies and Ilkaba, The Blighted, you can glide to the Diamond Marker and heal the wounded ghost using the E button.
If lucky, you will get a Destination Mod; else, you will only get Ghost Reputation Increment and The Pale Heart Engram as a reward.
Lost Encryption Bit
While playing the quest, you should also collect the lost encryption bit, which can be used to unlock Khvostov 7G-0X exotic in Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
You can find the lost bit after you complete the mission right after heading to exit towards the pink marker.
You can just follow the cave exit and search for a tiny space on the right side to collect the item.
